Kirin Law Group would like to welcome Makato Uda. Mr. Uda, who joins Kirin this September, received his law degree from Waseda University in Tokyo, Japan. Mr. Uda held high-level corporate positions, working for several years at Japan's largest independent venture capital firm. Mr. Uda recently obtained his LLM degree from Duke University. Kirin Law Group would like to announce the departure of David Makman. Mr. Makman was a part of Kirin's litigation team. It was a pleasure to work with Mr. Makman, who has been with Kirin since December 2009. We wish him much success as he embarks on another chapter with the Law Office of David Makman this September. |

May 2010: Joint Symposium in Tokyo, Japan |

The International Law Section of the California State Bar and the Dai-Ichi Tokyo Bar Association collaborated to launch its first ever Joint Symposium in Tokyo, Japan on May 12 - 13, 2010. Kirin Law Group is proud to be part of such an event. Kirin's Litigation Partner, Huy Do, will be giving a presentation on Civil Litigation Practice in California State and Federal Courts. In addition, Tasha Yorozu, Koyo Konishi, and David Makman will be in attendance at the Joint Symposium.
